Wilson Electric Inc. was first founded in 1984 by Robert D. Wilson. Wilson initially participated in large projects for others in the electrical industry. It became apparent that there was a need for an electrician to complete local projects and repairs. During a lull in available employment, Wilson's experience and passion inspired him to start his own locally owned and operated business.
